Since the closure of Bold Street Coffee due to essential works, the people of Liverpool (local or not) have flooded in to help them get back on their feet. That was back in January 2018. Fast forward a year in February 2019, they've reopened with a bigger space, longer opening hours and more importantly better menus.

One of the reasons why I moved back to Liverpool was because of the people in it. The city, although smaller than it's neighbouring cities, is full of life and has some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Bold Street Coffee is a space that holds some special memories, I've met up with numerous people during my uni days in the cosy location. So when they announced their closure, many people including myself were gutted, but thankfully with the help of kick-starter funds, they were able to re-open in just over a year's time. Here's to the many more memories to be made at Bold Street Coffee.

Bold Street Coffee sits in the middle of Bold Street (as the name suggests). Since it is situated in the centre of town, it is known to be relatively busy over the weekends, especially during day time. It is perfect if you want to immerse yourself in the Liverpool scene and feel just how lovely the people are. I would recommend you to go to BSC for a meetup with friends in the day, as it might be too loud and busy to work in comparison to other cafes around Liverpool, like Thoughtfully Cafe. While it is quite the lively and sociable environment in the day, as soon as the lights in the coffee shop switch for a more romantic ambience as the evening approaches, the pace goes from a Cha-Cha to a Waltz (that's a quick dance to a slow dance, for any of those who don't speak ballroom). You would find it to be a lovely location to have a chilled out meal.
